Situation
The situation in the case consists of employee turnover that must get reduced by 50%. The
designers, manufacturer, and other staff members seem to leave the organization for the failure to
understand critical dispositions concerning the benefits available in the firm. The Velma company
offers a range of benefits such as retirement benefits that constitute 10% of each staff's annual
earning (Velma Company, n.d). When the employees get sked why they leave with such a lucrative
venture, they indicate their absence of knowledge concerning the before-tax basis. It is an
appropriation indicated in other benefits that the business offers. The stocks are a significant
investment portfolio, but it is disappointing that the workers, designers, and manufacturers do not
see the benefits of investing in extra stock options when they do not have the information on the
financial benefits concerning the stocks. Other facilities such as the child care benefit also
experience similar dismay where the employees identified that they did not have children and
found the child care benefits unnecessary.
Problem
Velma Company faces the organizational structure problem where it fails to create
awareness of its many benefits to the employees (Velma Company, n.d). Through training, the
firm can educate the employees on the significance of the retirement benefits, stock options, child
care benefits, and many other benefits within the firm. It is a stance inclined to solve the existing
problem with the corporate code of conduct. Generally, the designers and the manufacturers
indicate a lack of comprehension concerning the firm's benefits. It is prolific to understand that
such a case can get solved by the firm adopting proactive measures that reflect on employees’
