The study methodology involved using thematic analysis to explore participants’ experiences

study uses a purposive sampling technique in the selection of the nurses to make a sample
population. Purposive sampling is applicable in research that requires information from

information about the participant’s experiences of communicating with parents about
childhood overweight. The respondents also indicated possible barriers that can hinder their
discussion with parents.
