The competitive advantage of a company or business refers to the factors that make the
company better than the other industry players. It refers to the things that a company does that
make it more attractive than other players in the industry. The competitors in the industry strive to
ensure that their products and services are appealing to the consumers. It requires an efficient
planning process, efficient usage of resources, and a reduced rate of errors in the delivery process.
The companies also use cost-cutting to produce items and services that are affordable to the target
market. Digby is one of the companies that use some of these tactics among others to remain
competitive among its competitors. The company provides location-based marketing data for the
consumers in physical stores.
Competitive Advantage
The competitive advantage is one of the things that keep companies afloat amongst their
peers. It is mostly achieved through innovative methods that increase the effectiveness of how the
business works. In this way, Digby has the highest potential market share, up to 30%, while
actually occupying the second biggest position in the market for high-end products, after Ferris.
