Frank and April's marriage went from stable to mediocre. Their constant search for
happiness made their marriage fall apart.

He points out that the Wheelers have a miserable marriage. He is glad not to be part

April sees the pregnancy as a way for Frank to imprison her from her dreams. The
hate towards Frank started when he rejects the idea of going to Paris.

The breakfast scene marked April's revolution. It was a moment for April to gather
up the courage and fight back. She wants to be in control of her life. She wants to
pursue her dreams and find happines.
