environments. This project is based on Hanson Enterprises, which operates in a foreign market
but fails to meet its core promises in the initial contract.
The company has disregarded the Fair Labor Standards Act from a federal dimension,
which offers guidelines for wages and overtime payments to employees in both the private and
public sectors. The firm has been reported to subject workers on overtime working with no
recognition and compensation. Additionally, the Occupational Safety and Health Act has been
violated since the firm has not considered improving the workers' health in their respective
environments. The firm has also violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act since it
does not honor its initial agreement on benefits offered to the workers (Ciccone, 2017).
On the same note, the firm has violated the local intellectual property laws which operate
within a country's boundaries in the target market (Frankel, 2016). From an international
dimension, the firm has violated the Workers Compensation Act's basics, which operates in
various countries across the globe. The firm does not recognize the effects of poor working
conditions on workers' health and safety, hence undermining their outcomes.
From an ethical dimension, the firm has violated numerous aspects of the target market
and environment. For instance, the utilitarian model offers a framework for understanding the
consequences of a given action. The outcomes of action should benefit the larger community as a
whole. The firm in the context acts on a platform that only benefits its financial needs instead of
responding to the needs of the target audiences and markets. Violation of employee rights and
employment laws has affected the firm's abilities to maintain the desired levels of operational
efficiency in the process. On the same note, the firm failed to consider the basics of virtue ethics.
