Question 1: Moral responsibility is described as the general status of an individual or
group to bear morally deserving compliments and praises (Sendlhofer, 2020). It is the status
of deserving reward, punishment, or blame for one or many acts performed and neglected,
which is in accordance with various rules and morals. However, moral standards are referred
to as various norms and obligations that different individuals have concerning several actions
and practices. These are the various standards people believe to be either right or wrong. They
deal with various matters concerning specific actions and practices.
Question 2: Categorical imperative in ethics is an absolute rule of conduct that is
absolute for all persons and agents and does not depend on any end or desires (Mulia et al.
2016). One good example of a categorical imperative is, “Thou shall not commit murder,” for
example, categorically and distinct from the different hypothetical imperatives associated with
murder and killing people. The hypothetical imperative would then insinuate that one should
not kill if they wanted to be popular. The imperative generally highlighted the need for people
to act just the same way they would want others to treat them. Work ethic is the general belief
that a proper and effective attitude alongside hard work and diligence would pose a great
benefit and various inherent abilities and virtues to strengthen an individual's character and
abilities. It also entails a set of values majoring on the significance of work and is manifested
by the desire to work extra hard.
Question 3: Utility is a term used to refer to the total satisfaction obtained by different
consumers after acquiring different products or services. The economic utility is also
important for the producers' goods and services as it greatly influences the public demand and
pricing of these goods and services (Hayry, 2020). For example, when an individual is thirsty,
cold water or soda would be their utility to satisfying their needs. On the other hand,
utilitarianism is the theory describing morality that champions different actions to help
