Ahlenius, M. (2019). Effect of Relationship Quality on Well-Being and Performance. A
study of Real-Estate Broker in Sweden (No. eres2019_183). European Real Estate
Society (ERES). https://ideas.repec.org/p/arz/wpaper/eres2019_183.html
This source centers on examining the connection between real estate brokers-
customer relationships and their subjective well-being and personal service provider
performance. In its usefulness to my research topic, this article reveals one of the real
estate brokers' realistic working environments essential to improve their performance and
well-being. The unique feature is the connection between three variables: service provider
or broker-customer relationships, performance, and subjective well-being. In its
conclusion, the article asserts that real estate brokers preferring service relationships with
their clients always have more significant service provider relationships, higher subjective
well-being levels. They would perform better in their service provision purposes. In my
conclusion, the service provider relationship is a vital factor in the real estate brokers'
working environment. It would be quite useful in improving their well-being and
performance levels.
Giustiziero, G. Is the Division of Labor Limited by the Extent of the Market?
Opportunity Cost Theory with Evidence from the Real Estate Brokerage
Industry. Strategic Management
Journal. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/smj.3249
First, this article investigates how labor division in the real estate broker career is
impacted by the opportunity-cost factors resulting from the market characteristics. In its
usefulness to my research topic, the source highlights one of the risk factors or challenges
affecting the job operations, such as division of labor in the real estate broker occupation.
As a unique feature, market characteristics, particularly the market size and price changes,
significantly impact the labor division in this job role. In conclusion, the source found that
division of labor among real estate brokers is useful in broader markets with bigger price
distributions. However, the division of labor becomes less effective in smaller markets with
price heterogeneity. In my conclusion, the real estate broker jobs depending on labor
division are more likely to be impacted in smaller markets than in bigger markets.
Jones, K. (2018). Work-life balance: organizational leadership and individual
strategies among successful women real estate
brokers. https://digitalcommons.pepperdine.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1974
&context=etd
This source focuses on examining women’s insights, experiences, understandings,
and perspectives on the real estate broker occupation. The considered dynamics involve
the lack of work-life balance and outcomes on the female real estate brokers. This resource
is useful to my research topic because it highlights one of the foremost challenges of real
estate brokers, especially female leaders in that career path. The most helpful feature of the
source is identifying a lack of work-life balance for female leaders in the real estate broker
