COMPLIANCE IN HEALTH CARE Student’s Name COMPLIANCE PLANS This presentation looks at two compliance plans using two elements picked owing to their relevance in our hospital setting case. The two compliance plans have been identified as; ➢ A flaw usually gets in the way when hospitals try to minimize mistakes that could lead to information coding errors. ➢ Employees need to understand the facilities feedback mechanism to ensure effective communication is utilized in the hospital. COMPLIANCE PLAN 1 Due to non-compliance, hospital lose up to 20% of their claims upon filling.  Malpractice cost American hospitals $1.7 billions in 2018 (Hamann, 2019).  A total of 1,744 deaths were linked to malpractice in 2018.  The policy calls for open communication between the staff and management (Coles & Babb, 2015).  COMPLIANCE PLAN 2 Employees need adequate education to cope with changing demands.  Education should not focus on existing parameters, but also emerging issues.  Departmental managers require education as well as their junior staff.  WHO (2017)notes that many healthcare workers skills do not match patients demands.  IMPACT ON COMPLIANCE Hospitals receive their reimbursements on time owing to accuracy of their data.  Hospital management can embark on developing health programs and measures with timely payments (Nielsen, Peschel & Burgess, 2014).  Hospitals face little questionable as their information audit reveals nothing of interest. ? ...
