1. Explain your preferred procedure to calculate the cost of a chiller. How much does chili
cost to make?
My preferred procedure to calculate the cost of chill would be to add the total number of chili
ingredients along with costs, then calculate the number of bowls require to make a profit and sell
the bowls in weighed proportion in this regard, it requires one can of number 10 crushed
tomatoes along with 5 can sof 46-oz tomato juice, one packet od Wendy’s secret seasoning, two
number ten cans or red beans and forty-eight cooked quarter-pound ground beef patties. The total
cost with this regard to make the chili is (56) for ground beef, red beans,4.5$, Wendy’s seasoning
1$, five cans of tomato juice,6.25$ and 2.75$ for crushed tomato cans. The total cost is (62.45$).
Not to mention the serving bowls that cost 0.035$, the lids that cost 0.025$, and the spoons that
cost 0.01$. All this amounts to between 5-8 ounces per serving. In my opinion, I would add the
total cost of making chili, then minus the sales of the chili. I would then divide this figure with
the portions to see the cost per bowl to understand if the company is profitable (Dadić, L.,
Ribarić, & Vlahov, B. (2020).

started; the advantage of having chili is that the beef used to make hamburgers that are well done
is used to make chili. This makes it cost-effective and saves on beef patties. The chili also
contains a secret ingredient made by the assistant manager, which indicates that the recipe is
indeed a secret making it a competitive advantage for the company. The challenges with offering
chili and the Menu are that it takes a longer period of time to make, and the task would be
considered tedious since the 48 quarter-pound beef had to be prepared by one person. Chili only
