Democracies in any country should never allow violence that result from terrorism.
Again, terrorists should never be rewarded at all costs for utilizing it for their gains. Negotiations
are believed to be an efficient means to offer legitimacy to any terrorist, and their strategies
undermine those who have sought after the political changes via peaceful means (Johnson,
2019). Consequently, talks between the government and the terrorists may destabilize the
political frameworks, set unsafe points of reference, and, lastly, undercut any global endeavor to
bandit fears typically based on oppression. Therefore, it is appropriate for the government to
acknowledge that there are times when it should be involved in negotiations with the terrorists
when saving hostages for the sake of the innocent citizens who are bound to suffer from terrorist
activities.
Consequently, such a situation will not consider whether the act is ethical or unethical
since lives are more important than anything else (Wilson, 2018). In my perspective, I do not
find the negotiation process with the key intention of capturing and prosecuting the captives as
unethical. I believe that by the government agreeing to negotiate with the terrorists, the lives of
the people will be saved. I also believe that every government's wish is to create a peaceful
atmosphere for its citizens. Hence, the government's contemplation of negotiations with the
terrorists is an excellent way to reduce the hazards associated with the political system's
destabilization.
Moreover, on such an occasion, each party, the terrorists, and the government will benefit
from negotiations. In that regard, governments in almost all nations and their political parties
find it weird negotiating with the terrorists, but at some time, they are forced to do so for the sake
