1. Reaction and evaluation of the role of our federal government in education
Since its creation, the Federal government has successfully insured the right to quality and free
and education to all students without unequal measure. Despite the numerous factors that would
have hindered the federal government's objectives in matters relating to education, the department
has remained firm in promoting student educational achievement in preparation for global
competitiveness. It has also succeeded in providing funding to facilitate access to educational for
the highly-needy students and students with disabilities.
2. Reasons why the federal government became involved in education matters
A stable democratic society is unattainable without the common understanding and acceptance of
some standard set of values. This is achieved through the attainment of knowledge and literacy
contributed by education. Consequently, a child’s educational gain is accrued by not only the child
or the parents, but also other society. This understanding of the great effects of education to the
society created the need of the federal government to get involved in education matters for the
development of a better society
3. Evaluation of the current federal government's involvement in education
The federal government’s involvement in education has been fruitful. Today, education is mostly
paid for and administered by non-profit organizations and the federal government. The federal
government has also ensured that every child be provided for education opportunity. The federal
government has also become primarily responsible for establishing and regulating the curriculum
