Purpose of the Project

Falcon Tech Company

Purpose and Overview

This project aims to establish the most effective Department of Defense's security policies that

would apply to the Falcon Tech Company's information technology networks. To ensure

compliance with the DoD approved IT security practices, we will involve in examining the

organization’s current standards as a way of ensuring that its data are well safeguarded in its

database system. It is recommendable to consider conducting an IT Security Awareness

Education program for all the Falcon Tech Company's key stakeholders, including vendors,

contractors, and employees.

Scope

This IT awareness policy supersedes all other policies that pertain to the utilization of the

company's communication network devices, services, and attached peripherals (Clements et al.,

2013). The introduced IT security changes would be a vital part of the DoD information security

contract entered into by the organization. To be fully effected, it is essential to ensure the

organization's information systems comply with the DoD's set standards, and this falls under the

8676 DoD directive.
