The issue of big data has been in existence for years with most organizations now
understanding that in case they capture all data which streams to their businesses, they can
embrace analytic and gain significant value. Nevertheless, even in the 50s, many years before
anybody could mention the term big data, organizations were using simple analytics which
were basically numbers in spreadsheets which were examined manually to uncover trends as
well as insights (Brock, & Khan, 2017). The benefits which big data analytics bring forth are
efficiency and speed. Even though some years back, a business could gather information, run
analytics as well as unearthed data which would be embraced for future decisions which
organizations can highlight insights for affirmative actions. The capability to work faster as
well as staying agile gives a firm a competitive advantage that they previously lacked.
According to the existing industry literature, Data Quality hinders the accomplishment of
several Big Data projects. Nevertheless, it is evident that minus an organized undertaking
favouring Data quality and Big Data, nothing will take place to alter the existing situation.

2019). The main impediments to constant data quality include inconsistent of the data tools as
