1. Politics: What type of political system did civilization have?
The roman republic civilization begun as a monarchy but later changed to the republic. The
kings rule Romans from eight to the sixth century. However, because of the kings` vices, the
members overthrew the monarchy and created the republic, which continued for several
centuries.
2. Economics: How was commerce regulated and goods/services exchanged?
The Romans practised trade, both regionally and internationally. Some of the exports included
cereals and wine, while the imports were metals and marble. They used to do well on
agriculture and technology and hence depended on these two for their prosperity.
3. Religion: What god(s)/religion affected the way the civilization viewed the world?
Romans believed that they were connected through moral values. Also, they believed that they
had to honor gods for them to gain any support. In most aspects, the families were dominated
by fathers. Besides, all individuals in society were required to offer sacrifices and prayers to
the gods. The purpose of doing that was to receive both family and state protection from their
gods.
4. Technology: What technologies did civilization use?
They had an entirely credible technology of building long-lasting roads. They made use of
varying layers in building temporary and permanent roads. Also, they obtained water through
the use of channels, which obtained water from the rivers and springs.

5. Environment/Geography: What type of environment/geography/climate affected
civilization?
One of the primary factors that helped Romans to rise to power is geography. That is because
the area was protected from external invasion by two mountain ranges. One of the mountains
made sure that they could mass force for counter-attack whenever they were invaded. Also,
during that time, the climate was mostly humid and cool.
6. Education: How (if at all) did the civilization train and educate its citizens?
The Romans focused on making their men and women influential speakers and exponents of
traditional values. Even though there were no public schools, most of the children were
educated at home. Hired private teachers usually taught the children of wealthy families. The
purpose of educating women was to ensure that they were prepared to educate their children
on traditional social and moral values.
7. Philosophy(ies): What philosophies, if any, guided the decisions made by
civilization?
The first Romanian philosopher was known as Lucretius, who adhered to the teachings of
Greek philosophy. Many individuals tried using magic spells and secret knowledge in getting
closer to god. The Christian followers communicated with their god through prayers. Pagen
tried perfecting themselves so that they could be closer to god.
8. Arts & Entertainment: What artistic forms of expression did the civilization use
for expression? How did they do for fun, games, and relaxation?
The roman art expounded following the republic's founding since it was connected to Etruscan
kings' failing. Besides, the roman art was grouped into two categories, republic art and Roman
empire art. Some of the arts were painting, architecture, and sculpture.
