Executive Summary
The measurement of organizational performance is one critical factor that leads to any
organization's success. It helps to inform the places where performance failures and successes
lead to the development of appropriate strategies to ensure sustainable human resource practices.
Summary of the Data
The data gathered from CapraTek is reflective of the problems that are eating into
organizational performance. The first thematic problem area from the data gathered is employee
engagement. This refers to the extent to which the employees of the organization may feel
committed to their work and motivated to contribute to the organizational success (Help
employees connect with their work & workplace, 2017). Most of the employees at Capra Tek
seem disconnected from their work. The high absenteeism rates reflect this as it shows the lack
of commitment from the team members to their work. The lack of communication between the
employees and the management is a causative factor of this disengagement to work. The quality
manager thinks that the employees do not care, while the employees seem to think that the
management does not care. Further, there are no systematic procedures for identifying problems
in the organization, which is another big problem.
Employee engagement then spans to employee compensation and benefits, which is the
second thematic area identified. The employee pay is way below what the market offers. The
company has not taken the initiative to match the market's pay rates keeping employees
dissatisfied and demotivated. This leads to high turnover levels in the organization, which are
