Question 1
From the video, it is apparent that major changes have occurred regarding human mating,
and more changes are bound to occur as time progresses. Essentially, it is apparent that more
females prefer mating with males willing to invest their time and resources in the offspring as
compared to dominant males who are not willing to be present in the long term (TEDx Talks,
2014). Within the next century, the high preference for dominant males might increase as more
dominant males become more invested in their families and as they become more available to
females. Besides that, the high level of availability of non-dominant men to women for long-term
mating and the minimized competition for mating partners as people are having sex throughout
the cycle may lead to an increased number of less dominant men thus making them more
available thus dominating not in terms of muscles but in terms of reproduction and mating.
Apart from that, it is hard to ignore the changing patterns of sexual patterns and the
expanding definition of gender. These elements seemingly revolutionize the entire approach to
mating and coupled with scientific approaches to mating such as the utilization of sperm donors
and surrogate mothers, the entire perspective of mating may even become a rather lab-based
practice rather than the traditional male-female mating in physical terms.

If I were Andreas Malm and Alf Hornborg, I would strongly refute the above statement,
identifying it as analytically defective and inimical to action (2014). Primarily, my reasoning
