1. If you had to give Monroe one piece of advice as he sits down to draft his proposal to
Jim, what would you say?
I would advise Monroe to be reasonable and ensure that he is comfortable with the
compensation proposal. Monroe should think about his achievements, career path, professional
capabilities, passion, and experience in the job offer. Monroe can also critically think and
consider the benefits that Jim's job offer can have in the future. A compensation proposal should
