Introduction:
Regatta University needs to find ways in which to actively reach the needs of their
students efficiently thereby enabling them to acquire a degree. The project would allow them to
access this information when they need it ensuring that they can easily enroll in class irrespective
of whether they are doing it online or physically on campus. Students will have the opportunity
to find out if they have received their financial aid, course grades and credits. The document file
that contains information on the student degree process charter sets out that the student
information system will move information on a student into the student degree progress tool.
System designs are vulnerable to failure and might not always give accurate results when first
implemented. The system would be efficient if effort was placed into designing and correctly
executing it in a way that will allow students to access Wi-Fi and see their requirements to finish
their degree.
Key stakeholders and roles:
Jane Smith is the project sponsor, and her main responsibility is to not only classify but
also outline the student degree progress project. Jane will propose a budget and the milestones
that the project hopes to achieve.
John Doe is tasked as the project manager and is expected to use his experience and
knowledge to ensure the project achieves its set objectives within the context of the set-out
project deliverables (Goodpasture, 2016). Mr. Doe is responsible for creating the charter for the
project, developing a strong management plan and making recommendations on the budget.
Shila Cole acts as the system analyst and her main task is researching different problems
and recommending specific system software that will help the project to meet its objectives. This
