Introduction
In today’s world, the only way for companies to keep up with their competitors is to grow
internationally. To become a leading company, they need to create strategies to do so that are
efficient and cost effective. Most importantly, these strategies need to include the best possible
ways to gain the best employees and retain them.
Anything outside the norm, such as a company who spent years within a domestic area
moving internationally, will come with changes and differences that a company needs to adapt
to. It is up to the human resources department to be proactive in the change in order to handle
and process employees at the front line. Managing internationally and domestically can be very
troublesome without the knowledge of how they contrast. Internationalization plays a pivotal
role in the economic growth of emerging markets and is used as a response to increased domestic
competitive intensity (Jardon & Molodchik, 2017).
Globalization and Your Organization
Flynn Restaurant Group’s locations are spread all throughout the United States and has
yet to try and break out of that restriction and into other countries. With the speed and the
success of this company, it can be foreseen that FRG will come to control additional
international franchises. The company’s mission is to become the premier franchiser group in
the restaurant industry as well as retain the best employees and empower them to run and sustain
superior operations.
The company will easily see benefits from going global. The first benefit and most
obvious is the expansion will mean more revenue. Flynn Restaurant Group is constantly growing
