Part 1 Food Record and Reflection
Reflecting on my eating and physical activity habits, I found that reasonable diet and
scientific physical exercise has a positive role in promoting the health, guarantee my daily
necessary nutrients, and improve the body's immune ability. Generally speaking, I choose foods
according to my personal preferences and make appropriate adjustments to meet my nutritional
needs and keep me healthy. As the saying goes, people won’t know the importance of health until
they are ill. Nowadays, a variety of food is emerging, and people are facing a variety of
confusion. In the process of diet, it’s important to achieve both balanced nutrition and pay
attention to develop good eating habits. I was picky before when dining, for months, I had been
eating a monotonous dishes. After having the nutrition class, I learn to balance my food, such as
eating more vegetables and fruit as diverse as possible. It is known that meat, fish, milk, eggs
and other foods are rich in high-quality protein, a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits are rich in
a variety of vitamins and inorganic salt. They are not only rich in nutrition, but also conducive to
digestion and absorption. Beside a rational diet, physical activities are crucial, too. Regarding my
exercise habit, I usually choose jogging or swimming in a particular time period, morning or
afternoon of a certain period of time. In this period of time, I’d like to put down other things and
do the exercise. After a period of time, it becomes a habit; without exercise, the body feels a little
uncomfortable. To insist on physical exercise habit, it’s better to have a friend supervise each
other, so that the possibility of persistence will be greatly improved. It’s a good way to make an
exercise goal list and check-in every day in order to stick to physical exercise. Setting the alarm
on the phone to remind me is also a good way to stick to the habit.
