Jose Rizal life represented in the film is a series of flashbacks which reflects on the various
aspects of life and the man that inspired a revolution. Film help us to see the hardship and
sacrifice of our national hero and his love to our mother country and to sacrifice his own life
just to make our country free. For me the main question about the seeks to answer about
the Rizal’s letter of retraction and his marriage to Josephine Bracken. Based from the film
my own reflection about the life of Rizal was truly inspiring not just as an ordinary story of
Filipinos but a story of very intelligent and talented Filipino, who is ready to sacrifice his
whole life just to give freedom and peace to his family, and own country for me the factors
that led to Rizal’s execution, first he published books and articles abroad that shows
disloyalty to Spain, anti Catholic and anti friars. Second is he was accused that the novel
