Opportunities and challenges in high school
My situation in high school is quite different from most. I had consistently had people
around me say that high school should be the best time, making me anxious to go to high school
and visualize my high school life. I was originally educated in Mexico, but I came to the USA
and enrolled in my present high school for three years. Ever since I have been a straight-A
student, I would have to say what has shaped me into the person I call myself today is my
opportunities.
Furthermore, I joined the soccer team, which is my passion. Being a soccer player, I grew
totally as a person taking all things together parts of life. Playing soccer supported my certainty
and helped me figure out how to deal with adversity through many losses and wounds, improved
my adaptability, and improved my problem-solving and team player skills.
Besides, being a leader in the senior year has allowed me to create change within the
school and the community by visiting orphanages, providing donations, and cleaning, making the
environment green. As a child, my dad often urged me to pull myself up. As a student and a
leader, when I had frustrated and challenging moments, I would tell myself the same and
perform the task, modelling myself into the responsible person I am today. It would be unfair if I
did not include the teacher (Mrs. Jones) guiding me every step of the way.
Talking about clubs, I was in the wildlife club. I remember visiting the national
park in junior year and discovered that the number of wild animals was plummeting, which
stirred my desire and passion for environmental conservation. I have then realized that I longed
for the process of learning about wild animals and their interactions with the environment.
