Revenue cycle
A revenue cycle is a periodic group of business operations and the data related to the
processing activities linked with offering goods and services to the customers and receiving cash
for the sales. The most important revenue cycle aims to offer the right product to the right person
at the right price at the right time (Joho, 2020).
REA Diagram
The Resource-Event-Agent Model is a method of abstracting the interpretation of
accounting transactions. It’s an ISO standard (Charles, 2020). Davenport Customize Computers,
Inc. constructs modified computers and the equipment related to these computers for clients in
the United States. Its target customers are small companies and home-based workers. These
customers order the customize computers through the internet, and DCC provides them the
finished product within two days. It has almost 1800 personnel and planned to hire around
10,000 employees in the next five years with four additional plants in the United States. Here is
the REA diagram for the company. Three things are important in the REA model;
