Analysis of Tesla
Introduction
Tesla Inc. is an American company with its headquarters in Palo Alto, California, which
is involved in automotive and energy products and services (Mangram, 2012). The company is
known for its significant growth in electric cars' production in its brand and solar panels'
production in its SolarCity subsidiary (Diamond, 2019). The company has set up several
factories and manufacturing plants. Gigafactory was established in Reno, Nevada, with its main
manufacturing plant called Tesla Factory in Fremont, California. The paper will focus on the
company's products or services, the impacts of stakeholders on its financial performance, and
how macro-environment factors affect its success.
Tesla's products and or services
Marc Tarpenning and Martin Eberhard founded Tesla in July 2003. The goal of the
engineering team was to show that electric cars do not have to be compromised. Electric vehicles
would be cheaper, more comfortable, and more convenient to drive than gasoline. It has
produced various models, including Models S, 3, X, and Y, as stated by the company in 2019.
Some models include Semi and Roadster vans (Mangram, 2012). In 2018, the company was
ranked as the world's leading best-selling maker of plug-in passenger vehicles, delivering over
245,240 units with a worldwide market share of about 12 percent for all plug-in segment
deliveries (Diamond, 2019). From 2017 to 2018 alone, the corporation managed to experience a
280% growth in its sales to 182,400 in 2018 compared to 48,000 in 2017.
Tesla manufactures electric vehicles and flexible goods for clean energy production and
storage. As soon as the planet escapes from the future with zero dinosaur-based emissions, Tesla
sounds stronger (Rosenbloom, 2017). To create a truly integrated energy climate, including
