Theoretical Perspectives Essay
Inside sociology, there are three different perspectives through which individuals see the
world. Every perspective differently affects how individuals carry on with their lives. These
three viewpoints were established by various scholars to see how society views the world.
There are three kinds of theoretical perspectives which are conflict theory, symbolic
interactionism, and structural functionalism. These three theories help categorize in how the
ways the world is seen. The motivation behind this paper is to state and characterize the three
sociology perspective theories, uphold one theory, and clarify why the two perspectives don't fit
as the right theory.
In the conflict theory, it is accepted that different and various gatherings are continually at
fight with each other. Conflict theory was established by Karl Marx. This theory is a large-scale
level theory which contemplates the world in general and spotlights on the inequality of various
groups in the public area. This perspective centers around how society is affected by intensity's
while likewise continually battling for power. In this theory, there will never be any stability
inside this sort of society (Claerbaut, 2015). Symbolic interactionism depends on how society
speaks with one another and that society helps together through symbols that hold values
(Claerbaut, 2015). This theory established by George Herbert Mead depends on the connections
between its people. These connections occur as a form of language and words that the general
public has created around. These connections additionally created dependent on how individuals
interpret and showcase their parts or their roles of society (Claerbaut, 2015). For example, in a
classroom setting, students know to be respectful, listen and take notes. This act can be
completely different than people would be if they were with their friends. Symbolic
