You have been hired to design, anticipate the results of, and present an evaluation of a program or policy of your choice for a hypothetical client with a vested interest in the program or policy. Your deliverables will be a 10-15 page evaluation (inclusive of all sections detailed below). Title Page: Include a properly-formatted APA title page. Program Overview: Begin the Evaluation by identifying your client, your client's interests and needs, and providing a brief (1-2 paragraphs) overview of your program to set the stage for the information that follows.  (A more detailed discussion of the program will come later in the evaluation.) Literature Review: Your Program Evaluation should include a review of any relevant literature on your program, and include discussion of at least five (5) peer-reviewed journal articles. Begin this section with a mini-introduction (1 paragraph) to the literature review.  Stakeholders: Identify and discuss your program’s stakeholders. Who are your stakeholders? How will you engage them in the evaluation? Program Description: What are the specific goals/mission/aims of the program? Has the program been evaluated before?   Why does your program need to be evaluated now?   Evaluation Design: Describe the design of your evaluation. Cite a course text. How does your design address your client's program evaluation needs?  Discuss your data collection plan and who will respond to your survey. Submit your survey instrument as an appendix.  Possible Findings: Based on your literature review, knowledge of the program, and data collection plan, consider possible results of your data collection.  Cite the Rossi, Lipsey & Henry text in this section. What findings would indicate that your program was effective? Explain. What findings would indicate that your program was partially effective? Explain. What findings would indicate that your program was mostly ineffective? Explain. What findings would indicate that your program was ineffective? Explain. Justification of Conclusions: Describe in detail two (2) findings from section 7 that you think are most likely.  If these were your actual findings, what conclusions would you draw ? Justify each. Ensure Use and Share Lessons: How would you encourage your client to disseminate and/or use the findings of the evaluation? Consider the social and political context of the evaluation.
