A learning organization innovates by acquiring knowledge to enable it to survive in a
highly changing competitive environment. This type of organization survives through
promoting and supporting a culture of continuous learning and development, which is
essential in creating new ideas that facilitate a learning culture for their workers while rapidly
transforming themselves. Learning organizations also encourage their employees to learn
from past mistakes so that they do not repeat the same mistakes in the future. However,
learning organizations have specific characteristics such as open communication, support,
recognition of continued learning, and accepting a certain risk-taking level. Additionally, they
must ensure that they have all the necessary resources for job performance, they support their
team, and continuously train their employees to adapt to the changing environments
