Ecology is the study of the ecosystem. By definition, an ecosystem is a biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment. This is a complex network or interconnected systems that depend on each other and exists in a natural balance. Addition or subtraction of new components may eventually lead to disruption of the existing balance. We are already experiencing these effects, highly due to pollution. There are alarming rise of carbon IV oxide level in the atmosphere which is accompanied by acidity of rain and marine environments. In this project, there is an exploration of the common sources of pollution and recommendations to reduce them. Our lifestyle has a major impact on environment and we can significantly conserve our ecosystem by altering it for the better. From this project, it is apparent that we would require 4.45 earths to be comfortably supported should everyone lead my lifestyle.
