General Rules

• Online classes are starting from 22/3/2020 onwards and during this two weeks, students will be

attending their classes online and are not required to come to the university.

• Attendance is mandatory. This means you will have to access Blackboard and do the activities

prepared by your teacher during class time as per your regular schedule. Alternatively, you

might also be required to connect to Microsoft Teams for live steaming lessons or chatting.

Therefore, make sure you familiarize yourself with the new tool before online learning starts.

• Discussion board in Blackboard and chat in Microsoft Teams will be available for you to ask

questions during class time and office hours as per schedule.

• No assessments will take place during these two weeks.

• Students should refrain from taking screenshot or photos during lecture, especially when

instructor is online.

• Complete your class work on time to ensure attendance.

• Check your email and Black Board announcements every day.

 What do I have to do before class?

Step 1

Go to the folder “Online Module: Week 1” and keep the content readily accessible. (Refer

to screenshot below).

Step 2

Connect to your class in Microsoft Teams 10 minutes before class.

 What do I have to do during class time?

1) Webcams and microphones should be muted.

2) Go to the main screen and find your instructor’s name at the bottom of the left side

3) Use headsets/headphones to focus better.

4) We are using MS Team only to clarify your queries and monitor the attendance.

5) All lectures are posted in BB. After listening to it you can come online in MS Team to ask any

questions.

Step 1

Go to “Class Activities………..” and complete all the activities required.

Step 2

Share your findings using the chat feature on Microsoft Teams.
