PROJECT CLOSURE PROCESS NAME INSTITUTION DATE PROJECT CLOSURE PROJECT CLOSURE ▪ Project closing involves formal recognition that the project has been completed and an assurance that all the activities agreed upon by the project managers have been properly executed. ▪ After the final touches have been done on the construction, it is ready for the stakeholders to start using it for the intended purpose (Emad, 2015). ▪ Termination of a project involves transferring all the deliverables to the stakeholder, confirming completion, reviewing the contract and the documentation, archiving documents, and finally celebrating the completion. PROJECT CLOSURE  The project closure steps are ✓ Transfer of all deliverable ✓ Confirmation of project completion ✓ Reviewing the contracts and documentation ✓ Releasing the resources ✓ Archiving documents ✓ Celebration of the project completion Criteria to be met for customer to agree the project was successfully completed  Acceptance of the project by the client is vital since it determines whether the work done fulfilled the client's expectations or not.  To ensure that the client agrees the work was successfully completed, the project manager must ensure that they clearly define project acceptance.  Project acceptance criteria include performance requirements and essential conditions that must be met before the project is accepted.
