license to operate nursing in any state. An RN manages practical patient care in diverse settings

Requirements
RN normally takes one of three education routes; A diploma from an endorsed nursing

years is the course period for ADN and diploma programs. Hospitals give diploma courses, and
all courses entail supervised clinical encounters. Bachelor degree courses comprise extra learning
in physical and social sciences, critical thinking, communication, and leadership. A bachelor’s
degree is always essential for managerial roles, teaching, research, and consulting. Certified
graduates from ADN, BSN, or diploma are eligible for entry-level roles as team nurse. To
become certified, nurses should graduate from an endorsed nursing course and pass the National
Committee Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN). Other licensing prerequisites are passing a criminal
background verification which varies by state. Vital qualities for an RN are physical stamina,
compassion, communication, and critical thinking abilities, detail-oriented, emotional stability,
and organizational skills.
Job Description
Most new RNs start as staff nurses, offering direct patient care to people and families in
