Question One
According to Nies and McEwen (2015), Healthy People 2020 offers the chance to
stand back and contemplate via the roles that school health, along with prevention
education, must assume in the sector of education of a broad array of learners
comprising od educated citizens and future medical health experts. Generally, HP
2020's objective sets the goal that seventy percent of the senior, junior, and middle
school provide courses of health education in the following areas of priority: drug and
alcohol abuse, violence, and injury, the use of tobacco, poor nutrition, physical inactivity,
and sexual behavior that prompts unwanted pregnancies or STDs. This in on an
account that these behaviors and problems mentioned above add to the crime statistics,
unemployment rates, and high dropout rates of the nation if not addressed. Therefore,
Healthy People 2020 could be applied to shape the care provided in the school health
environment through the following ways:
Maintaining the coverage levels of vaccination for kindergarten children.
Increasing the private and public-school proportion, which needs learners
to wear proper protective gear when taking part in the physical activities
sponsored by the school.
Increasing the numbers of kids with mental disorders that receive
treatment
Reducing the percentage of school dropouts or the number of days that
the children did not attend school.

Increasing the proportion and age of the adolescents that are still a drug
and alcohol-free.
Question Two
About all the schools uphold the medical record of each learner, and at the very
least, monitor the status of immunization. Majority of the authorities acknowledge that
extensive SHPs must comprise of the following components: physical education; health
education; health services, nutrition services; social, psychological, and counseling
services; healthy school environment; health promotion for staff; and community and
family involvement (Nies & McEwen, 2015).
