In this case, due to skin deterioration and lack of mobility, old people over 70 are at a higher risk. ❑ Obesity: Obese patients tend to live a sedentary lifestyle, increasing their chances of getting pressure ulcers. ❑ Poor Nutrition: People who eat healthy are less at risk for development of pressure ulcers ❑ Chronic Illnesses: Diseases that cause hospitalization and immobility for a long time tend to expose affected patients to pressure ulcers.
