Answers:
1.
Fast food joints or organizations do not have to deal with issues, such as providing
opportunities for growth and making work meaningful because employees do not stay for
long for such issues to matter. Irrespective of such considerations, the underlying problem
revolves around employees’ description of fast food workplace as unbearable due to low
pay, rapidly changing technology, and harsh physical and emotional conditions combined
with insufficient staff levels and training (Kinicki & Williams, 2020). Equally, available
evidence indicates that the fast food industry has not done enough or engaged in different

(Taormina & Gao, 2013). During the first instance, employees seek employment in order
to meet their basic needs. However, with time, workers focus on other issues, such as
physiological needs, love and belonging needs, and self-actualization needs. In the fast

increasing their levels of income with time. The issue of love and belonging emerges in the
fast food industry because employers do not protect workers from people who mistreat
them. The other issue entails pay inequity, which makes fast food employees feel isolated
and not loved like employees in other sectors of the economy (Kinicki & Williams, 2020).
Drastic changes in the fast food industry can help to improve employee motivations,
including improving the workplace environment, increasing the minimum wage, offering
