Based on the Greiner (2009) article, define an applet, and distinguish one
from a servlet.
According to the article, Applets are the bundles of code that is downloaded to
the browser with the webpage. Servlets are not downloaded onto the client and run on the
webserver. Servlets are used to extend the capabilities of servers that host applications. The
main difference, as far as I can tell is where they run from. Applets are download on the
browsers, so they are using the recourses of the client, wile the Servlets run on the server.
To me this means they are using the servers recourse to run. I would imagine that you
wouldn't want to use a large number of servlets on a server that sees a usage level.
