USABILITY REPORT
Usability report on ATM’s
ATMs are machines that have efficiency when it comes to carrying out financial
transactions. This is because it being user-friendly and having multiple functions. An ATM is an
acronym for Automated Teller Machine. This machine gives access to bank customers to perform
banking transactions without the help of a physical bank representative. This is made possible with the
use of magnetically coded cards and personal identification numbers (PIN). Several banking
transactions are performed by an ATM. These include depositing money, withdrawing money,
transferring funds to other bankers, confirming bank balances, processing bank statements, and paying
bills among other things (Naseem et al., 2017). ATMs are found outside the banks and operate remotely.
Bank customers who have ATM cards are the typical users of an ATM. Two inputs and three
output devices are the means through which the users interact with the ATM (Özçelik and Ekiz, 2018).

information regarding the user's account stored on the microchip or the magnetic strip and the keypad
permit users to enter banking transactions information. The output devices are the monitor, printer, and
cash dispense. The monitor display bank information on the dispenser either delivers study banknotes or
accepts banknotes from users.

the customer to the bank's central data. When an ATM user inserts the ATM card into the ATM card
reader, the ATM prompts the user after reading the card information data to enter the PIN to gain access
to banking transactions shown on the display screen. On entering the PIN, the machine communicates to
the bank through a telephone network to verify whether the PIN is correct, if not correct the customer
has to reenter again. After that, the machine directs the user to the transaction page where the customer
