WBS TIME SCHEDULE 4
Work Breakdown Structure Time Scheduling
Using Microsoft Project software, the project team amend the project's Work Breakdown
Structure (WBS) to include the schedule of time required to complete the project. Moreover, the
project manager ensured scheduling of all tasks under the WBS and synchronized all the
activities in the Tasks and Time Schedule, considering those that can be performed concurrently
and those that must follow each other. It was made possible by applying the task dependency,
relationships, and predecessor functionalities in the Microsoft Project Professional software.

tasks and schedules.
Variation (Error), Systematic Problems, and Organization
To evade and solve systematic problems within the project schedule, the project team
utilized Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) process. First, all individual activities slack
or buffer were converted to the project's buffer. Each team member created a duration estimate
free from any padding based on a 50% probability of success. Further, all tasks on the critical
chain were then linked with minimal time padding. Consequently, the project buffer aggregated.
Some proportion of that saves time was added to the project, thus, significantly reducing the
overall project's time padding and enabling team members to be less concerned with activity
padding and more with task completion.
CCPM also employs a similar approach for not on the critical chain (Greg, 2018). In this
project, path activities were reduced by the same order of magnitude in a buffer constructed for
the overall noncritical chain. This project's critical path was assumed to require identifying
resource-conflict and sequencing tasks to eliminate such conflicts. Instead of employing early
