Coca-Cola happens to be one of my favorite companies since it offers a lot of products I
enjoy, especially Coke zero. Its most renowned competitor happens to be PepsiCo which has
been in competition with Coca-Cola since the late 19th century. Their products also have similar
qualities when it comes to taste and ingredients, and customers have sworn loyalty to one or the
other. Other competitors include Red Bull and Keurig Dr. Pepper, which challenge Coca-Cola's
market dominance. Coca-Cola is, however, able to stay above its competition by investing
heavily in advertising, and through this, it is possible to introduce its products to large audiences;
more so, the company focuses on making its products affordable as well as fulfilling the tastes
and preferences of consumers. Coca-Cola has been making changes to its organization so as to
remain relevant to the times. One such change is moving towards 100% recyclable packaging in
an effort to become more environmentally conscious and reduce its contribution to pollution and,
subsequently, climate change (Geng et al., 2021). The company has also been diversifying its
products by moving away from its signature beverages in favor of products with lower levels of
sugar to respond to consumers becoming more health-conscious. The company has also acquired
Chino premium mineral water and partnered with McDonald's to introduce McCafe Frappes in
grocery stores. The company has also been moving towards focusing more on juices and plant-
based beverages, value-added dairy as well as tea and coffee drinks. The company has also
expanded beyond drinks to offer snacks like its competitor PepsiCo (Geng et al., 2021). The
COVID-19 pandemic would also trigger changes in machinery, products, product lines as well as
employment structures, business functions, and even labor relations. Due to pressures brought
about by the pandemic, the organization would begin to restructure its operations which included
laying off over 2000 workers (Geng et al., 2021). They would also cut the products they were
producing by half to focus on products that were growing and those that could be profitable. As a
