Answer:

I believe the fossil fuels will cause great impact if a time is reached that such energy

resource is depleted. These fossil fuels include coal, petroleum, and natural gas. These fossil

fuels are formed naturally but take a very long time in a matter of millions of years.

Unfortunately, these sources of energy cannot be replaced as fast as they are consumed. Since the

10th century, humans had been progressively dependent on non-renewable energy mainly the

fossil fuels. Studies estimated that the recent yearly fossil fuels consumption uses the amount

produced fuels in more than 400 years. For the meantime, energy conservation programs are

implemented aimed at slowing down the use of fossil fuels. Aside from fear of bringing it into

depletion, slowing down the unwanted effects of the burning of fossil fuels is among the top

reason of shifting off fossil fuels use. Currently renewable energy is used in private homes, in

community service projects, in the farm, and in some companies. Its popularity is increasing and

is now greatly used in Europe. Solar power has been used to provide energy for heating and

lighting purposes, hydropower plants had been devised and is the source of electricity to many

communities in some countries, windmills has been used popularly to generate energy for

multiple machineries to do physical work like crushing grain or pumping water, and the

extraction of ethanol from biomass has been a good source of energy.
