The article, "Trump Abandons Iran Nuclear Deal he Long Scorned" by Mark Landler, in
2018, open a new wave of an international issue on the nuclear power that long started in 2015.

nuclear-deal.html explains a recent action that president trump took against the expectation of the
many European nations. He said that he had pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal so that everyone
could understand that he had not made empty threats during his presidential campaigns. The Iran
nuclear deal/ Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was an agreement made
internationally to reduce the Iran ambitions in the production of nuclear weapons in exchange for
sanction reprieve (Ritter & Hersh, 2018). Under Trump, the U.S one of the signatories of the
agreement pulled out, leaving a trail of anticipated effect on Iran, the Middle East, and the entire
world.
The article addresses a few important topics that relate to the unit. For instance, it
discusses international agreements, trade sanctions, and nuclear weapons. The three have close
relationships in connection to Iran and the entire world. For example, the world imposes trade
sanction on Iran due to its obsession in making nuclear bombs. To alleviate this effect on its
economy, Iran signed a deal to reduce its ambitions, and secure its trade with other nations of the
world. By withdrawing from making nuclear weapons, the security of the Middle East and the
world as a whole is ensured.
The political past indubitably affects the present events. During his 2016 presidential
campaign, president trump made promises that he would be a deal maker (Trump & Schwartz,
2015); hence, he would dissolve the entirely flawed agreements. He promised to rip up the Iran
