A HISTORY OF ELECTRONIC FLIGHT BAG (EFB) FLIGHT CONTROL 2
A History of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Flight Control
The topic of this research, A History of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Flight Control,
directs the formal reports for Technical writing 3350. The research explores the use of EFB
system in the cockpit to minimize the excessive paperwork for the pilot. The electronic system is
a recent innovation to improve flight control.
Mikulski, J. (2014). Telematics - Support for Transport: 14th International Conference on
Transport Systems Telematics, TST 2014, Katowice/Krakw/Ustro, Poland, October 22-25,
2014. Selected Papers. Berlin, Heidelberg: Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
This book covers the entire proceedings that were discussed in the international
conference for the transport system telemetric held in Poland in 2014. This was the 14th
conference, which discussed the solutions that were developed to improve the transport system
and intelligent transportation system. I intend to use this source to build on my knowledge about
the air transport system and intelligence whereby the EFB control system is part of it.
Chandra, D. (2002). Human factors evaluation of Electronic Flight Bags. Piscataway, NJ : IEEE
This book explains the increasing use and interest in the development of an electronic
system that manages information, especially for the flight crews. These devices are known as
EFBs, which helps the pilot to carry out their activities efficiently and safely. EFB are a
multifunction system, which eliminates the use of operating manual, checklist, and navigator
publications. I will use this book to explains the role played by EFB system and to explains how
to helps the pilot in the cockpit.
