United States Founding Influences
After the American Revolution, the American leadership has three government branches
namely the legislature, executive and then the judiciary. The legislature has a mandate of making
laws that run the country. The legislative branch has two chambers, where Senate is one of the
chambers and then the House of Representatives. Executive branch also has a mandate of
enforcing the laws of a nation. According to the Executive branch, the president and his vice
president are not elected directly, but they are elected through the Electoral College system. The
last one is the judicial branch, where it has the mandate of interpreting all the laws that govern
the nation.
The founding fathers were responsible for the successful war during the colonial
independence. They brought out different liberal ideas that aided the declaration of independence
and the formation of the constitution (Sparer et al., 2011). They led to uniting all thirteen
colonies, and they built up a new government that catered to all the needs of the Americans and
protected their rights to the latter. In the United States of America, the political philosophy
incorporates three central doctrines: republicanism, constitutionalism, and finally, natural rights
(Walsh et al., 2012). Therefore, the political philosophies were responsible for setting out the
standards that define the constructive use of power in America and the judgmental standards.
The Americans most important documents were the declaration of independence, which
took place in 1776. This is the most well-known document in American history because it
granted all the people of America independence from the British Crowns. The Constitution of
America is also another essential document because it keeps the nation running without any
