How are photosynthesis and animal energy consumption related?
Animals and plants are connected through the series of cycle in their whole existence,
they are interrelated through the resources they exchange. Biochemical reactions
happens in animals and plants are interrelated series and events crucial to the success
of life in earth.
In plants, CO
2
and O
2
are organic molecules fuels the production of ATP that are
essential for the biological growth and development of plant. Sunlight, H
2
O, and CO
2
are essential to make sugars which are converted to ATP and O
2
that releases to the
atmosphere. On the other hand, when the animals eat plants they also consumed
sugars from it and Oxygen from the air which they convert to H
2
O, and CO
2
and
converted again to ATP. The CO
2
produce by the animals are used by the plants to
make more sugar during photosynthesis. Sugars, CO
2
and O
2
that plants and animals
produce during dark ang light reactions are needed in the production of ATP. Plant
materials consumed by animals is converted to sugar, fats, and amino acids that can
lead to the production of energy to ATP and CO
2
and that process is called Aerobic
Respiration. The CO
2
used by plants to make sugars in photosynthesis comes from
sugar breakdown during Aerobic Respiration of Animals, ATP generated from Aerobic
Respiration is also essential for the many biochemical reactions in plants.
