The business has set aside 5000 dollars operating costs for marketing expenses. The firm
aims at increasing sales made since there is a set store for business operations as well as online
business operations. Brand awareness is not that great yet, and so there is a need to increase the
awareness of gift baskets to more potential customers. Different marketing strategies will take
different time periods and personnel for the job (Marquardt, 2018). Currently, the business has
enough marketing personnel for online platforms, but since the company has set an operating
store, more personnel will be required for other forms of marketing. Currently, the business uses
the following marketing methods; inbound marketing, specifically blogging. Second, email
marketing where online customers who made purchases before and informed in case of and new
gift basket introduced and thanks emails when they take long to make other purchases to remind
them. Social media advertisement is also used specifically through Facebook and the business
website, which shows all the gift baskets offered. With the inclusion of an operating store, the
following methods of marketing will be included. First, the word of mouth advertising where
business marketing personnel will be required to attend a different function like birthday events
and present a small but good gift basket to create awareness and point of purchase advertising
where sales personnel introduces different types of gift baskets and give tips after a big purchase
(Marquardt, 2018).
