The society of today loves to tell women what they should do or not do. The question of
when is getting married often come from the parents as they seek to know the future of their
children. Recently, the idea of getting married has become and is becoming a social choice than
an essential requirement for most women. In most cases, the question of wanting to get married
or not always come first before the question of who to marry in society. From the societal
perspective, marriage life makes women happier than singlehood life. Sometimes, depending too
much on marriage to be happy and comfortable may be too risky for many women. Studies
indicate that those who live a single life tend to be healthier than those in marriage life.
Moreover, other studies also reveal that marriage life tends to be happier than singlehood life.
Therefore, this paper seeks to explore the advantages of living a single life than married life. The
paper will use a single example essay format to explore how singlehood life is advantages than
the married life.
Women who live single lives do better than women in marriage lives in many remarkable
ways. The single tends to spend most of their time alone and are quick to make decisions faster
than the women in their marriage lives. They spend less time in making important decisions than
the ones in the marriage lives (Saili & Shanat, 2018). Married women have to consult with their
husbands regarding individual decisions that require less time to make. The singlehood women
also have more time to socialize with their friends than the married couples who have to consult
first from each other and are mostly not to have the freedom of socializing with friends anytime.
The schedule for the married is always complicated and must make time for each other to spend
some leisure time together.
