A. Macro
1. The continuous arguments and behavioral issues between Richard and Donna with little
concern by the company members are possible to the depreciation of employees'
morals.
2. Gene being reluctant to dealing with the issues within the entire organization as well as
the subject of Richard and Donna and telling them how their arguments affect the
organization's operations.
B. Micro
1. There should be a proper discussion between Donna and Richard about sticking to the
initial budget since Donna has been having problems sticking to the budget.
2. Gene and Richard's confrontation should be a confrontation to inform Richard how
inappropriate he was trying to control Donna's doings, Besides reminding him of his job
descriptions and what is not on his duty, like Donna's actions.
ii. Causes
1. Gene, having relied on his secretary to be watching whatever is happening within the
office: the various situations and the conflicts rather than him taking responsibility for
the supervision of the office's problem.
2. Richard and Donna's fight has mainly been caused by Gene's continuous reluctance,
making them continuously argue, and his failure to take appropriate actions and address
the issue.
3. The fight between Richard and Donna is enabled b Gene when he is not taking drastic
measures to solve the problem between the two.
iii. System affected
1. The structural system is affected in that there is no proper supervision and measure for
actions within the company: Gene is not taking responsibilities and being in charge to
discipline his employees.
2. The psychosocial system has been affected since Gene, who should be totally
responsible and superior to his employees, feels inferior about the decision he made.
3. The technical system is affected in that just a group of employees almost overruled the
budget that affects the entire company. This may have resulted in financial problems
within the company.
iv. Alternatives
1. Gene needs to rethink his decision and see whether they are reproductive to the
company regarding his company position.
2. Richard and Donna need to be set to track by HR to help them sort out their differences.
