Starbucks Group Report
Starbucks ' performance is built on three pillars the social, community, and environment
where the company has a huge impact in these areas. Starbuck has positively impacted the
community where it operates through the provision of high-quality service and products tailored
to benefit the local communities. For Starbuck, a customer is their largest stakeholder who is
mostly from the communities they operate therefore their first performance evaluation is based on
the customer’s perspective which continuously has welcomed customers with a range of top
quality and affordable products.
Starbuck has expanded its commitment to the community through the launch of the
community Store Program aimed at opening more than 100 stores dedicated to creating more jobs
for the community hence creating both economic and social implications. After the launch of this
initiative, more than 14 stores have been opened creating more than 300 jobs for the local
community. Besides, Starbucks has awarded more than 1,000 grants to its communities through
the Starbucks Foundation Awards which has benefited back the community (Herningsih, 2019).
This firm has performed well in respect to its community efforts which has seen Starbuck being
recognized as one of the most ethical firms across the world. Under the Community pillar,
Starbucks has more planned with their active participation in most of the community events geared
at developing and improving the lives of its community.
The evaluation of Starbucks in Social aspects shows that the company’s social involvement
is genuine and Starbucks has a good public image across the world. The main goal of each business
entity is to make a profit and sell its products to the customer however, Starbucks has shaped its
operations to more than just making money. The act of going retail green by Starbucks has yielded
a huge social appreciation as it reflects the emphasis on protecting their business and what’s
surrounds their operations. Besides, Starbucks has been sincere in ensuring a good public image
