The work needs a lot of amendment- He has not amended the work. The only thing he did was to
add the five slides.
The below explanations are already in the guidelines. Please, go through it again before reading the
attached guidelines.
The references must be recent great peer-review articles and journals- stating from 2014 to date
(preferable 2017 to date) and should not be less than 10 references. APA style.
The first slide must be for the Title without an image because I will add some information in it later.
Each slide must have some points with an in- text-citations and a note under it (Transcript). That is
transcribing the points you have writing in the slides. For example
GOOD EXAMPLE SLIDE: 3-4 PUNCHY BULLET POINTS TO COMPLEMENT A BROADER NARRATIVE
These are in the powerPoint slides
Early adolescents spend more time with friends than families (Bukowski et al., 1991; Fuligni et
al., 2001)
Peers become the most important source of social support (Furman & Buhrmester, 1992)
Some peer interactions might lead to youths feeling worse, for instance, due to co-rumination
(Rose, 2002)
Co-rumination: excessive focus on problems in close dyadic relationships with peers (e.g.
discussing the same problems repeatedly) (Rose, 2002)
Below is the transcript of the above PowerPoint slide
TRANSCRIPT-
During early adolescence, most youths start to spend more time with friends than with their
families, and peers become the most important source of social support. Nevertheless, some peer
interactions might lead to adolescents’ feeling worse rather than better in the long run. One such
process is co-rumination. Co-rumination is defined as excessive focus on problems in close dyadic
relationships with peers. A coruminating relationship frequently involves discussing the same
problems repeatedly, focusing on negative feelings, and speculating about problems in general.
You must transcribe all the points in each PowerPoints slides under each of them except the title
slide and the reference slide. You must not include in-text-citation in your transcript. Please look at
the example showed above. The points in the slides have references while the transcript did not.

That is exactly how I want the work to be. All the points in the PowerPoints must be cited and must
be recent peer review articles and journals.
You must also adhere to the below instructions-
PRESENTATION STRUCTURE SLIDES-
1 Title slide • Your first slide should have your presentation title, your student number and your
programme • Come up with your own title, based on the given question.
2 Background / Introduction to the topic • Use the first few slides to provide a broad overview of the
topic you want to cover in your presentation • DON’T just repeat the title as provided in the
handbook. • This is a good place to approach the topic from a wider perspective.
3 The main body of the presentation • Use a few slides to develop your argument • The build-up of
your argument and transition between slides should be smooth and logical • This is the place to
show off your critical thinking skills!
4 Summary/conclusion • Use the last 1-2 slides to provide 3-5 bullet points summary of key
messages you wanted to convey to round up your presentation • Consider the key take home
messages you want the listener to take from listening to your presentation • Have you answered the
question? • Consider practical application • Don’t leave it hanging! • Don’t introduce new
topic/concepts here!
Please include these in your discussion- Provide a critical analysis of evidence (i.e. compare and
contrast empirical research to back up your arguments)
Integrate theory and research evidence to tell a coherent and a convincing story.
The images in the slides must be cited (You must cite where you got the images). For example, if
the image is got from www.pexels.com you must copy and paste it under the image. The images
must be from either www.pexels.com or pixabay.com
Later copy all the things you transcribed under each slide of the PowerPoints sequentially into a
word document without in-text citations. I will as well submit it later. Remember it must be 1000
words.
