Prince Sultan Military Medical City (PSMMC) formerly known as Riyadh

Military Hospital is located in Riyadh City, the capital of Saudi Arabia,

considered as one of the most advanced center in the Middle East. It is located

in the heart of Riyadh, at a distance of approximately 20 Kilometers from the

city center and easily accessible to the general population. It is the flagship of

the PSMMC Program (Formerly known as RMH program). PSMMC is the

Medical Services Department (MSD) of the Ministry of Defense and Aviation

(MODA). Abdulmajeed Alshowair is the administrative Head Department of

Emergency department and is basically a Consultant & Trainer in the discipline

of Family Medicine where I worked under his kind supervision.

The following leadership characteristics are exhibited by Abdulmajeed

Alshowair as evidenced while working with him for a short while:

Abdulmajeed Alshowair demonstrated exceptional punctuality and

regularity in his work. He considered it a basic attribute of his

professional and leadership life, and essential for provision of

emergency medical services.

• Honesty and integrity:

I observed that honesty and integrity was a fundamental characteristic

of Abdulmajeed Alshowair leadership style.

• Charismatic/Inspiring nature

As a leader, Abdulmajeed Alshowair has an inspiring and charismatic

nature. His actions were followed very well by nearly all the staff

members working under his kind supervision.

• Passion for his work

Abdulmajeed Alshowair is highly passionate about his work of providing

emergency medical services.

• Commitment to his work

I found him highly committed to his job and to provide a vision and

direction to those working with him.
