ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND

Pregnancy related AKI in one of the most dreaded complication in pregnancy.

AKI during pregnancy not only impacts the fetal outcome but also imparts

strong negative impact on maternal well-being as well. Hemodialysis is

required in patients with AKI during pregnancy. These patients have poor fetal

and maternal outcome.

OBJECTIVE:

The objective of this study was to determine the frequency of patients

suffering from pregnancy related AKI requiring dialysis.

DURATION OF STUDY

Study period was 6 months after the approval of synopsis.
